Born in Varberg. Raised on the stages of Prishtina. One of the defining voices of Albanian pop.

Dafina Zeqiri was born on 14 April 1989 in Varberg, Sweden, to a family from Kosovo. Albanian audiences first met her at Polifest in 2007, and her run of hits since then has made her one of the most recognisable artists in the Albanian-speaking world.

Her sound moves between pop, R&B, dance and reggae, and she names Aaliyah as her biggest musical and style influence. She has recorded with French Montana, Yll Limani, DYSTINCT, Sardi and Marin, and performed on stages including Sunny Hill in Prishtina. In 2026 she marks twenty years in music with XX.
